Original Cajun Food Tour

Hop on our cozy customized tour bus to discover the history, experience the culture and best of all, sample the fabulous cuisine that makes us so unique. Our fun, casual Cajun food tours take you off the beaten path to include five tasting stops at local favorites around Lafayette (all included in the price!). You can expect to taste many Cajun originals like boudin, king cake, etouffee, gumbo, fried seafood, cracklin’ and more! Come hungry so you can enjoy! We work with nearly 30 different eateries, so tours, routes, and items sampled will vary depending on the season. Breaux Bridge Walking Food Tour

Join us on a culinary adventure for a unique look at historic downtown Breaux Bridge, in the heart of St. Martin Parish. This charming food tour is made for history enthusiasts and food lovers alike, and is sure to delight guests of all kinds. We’ll stroll along the banks of the Bayou Teche and down the streets of this 200-year-old settlement, taking in the amazing history and experiencing the unique qualities of this fascinating place. Best of all, enter several of the deliciously celebrated eateries along the way for a mouth-watering experience. Sink your teeth into our favorite dishes!

Morning Yoga

Get up and get your body moving! We will offer a morning Yoga session Saturday and Sunday mornings. Bring your own mat. Time and location to be determined. 

The Red Tent Room

Our annual tribute to female energy will be set up in a private parlor room. The Red Tent Room will be an active, yet relaxing place to go and recharge. This welcoming space is for sisters of all ages – maidens, mothers, and crones. The Red Tent Room will include healthy snacks and beverages, henna tattoos, coloring meditation, tarot readings, calming music, and other essentials to aid in peace and healing. Feel free to bring blankets, shawls, tarot cards, playing cards, games, and treats.

The Bazaar

Find a hand-crafted treasure at the conference Bazaar, where skilled artisans will offer a selection of unique items for sale. Everyone can enjoy shopping on Friday and Saturday between conference sessions. Each conference vendor has generously donated an item for the Raffle; by buying tickets for the prizes you want, you’ll help support the conference Scholarship Fund.

A non-profit organization that supports women through worship, learning, leadership, community and social justice, SWUUW addresses women's issues, explores feminist theology, promotes friendships and celebrates the diversities that make us unique women on our individual spiritual paths. SWUUW is an organization open to all UU women, particularly those women in the Southwest District of the Southern Region of the UUA.
