FRIDAY
Feb. 23

Please note Friday dinner is on your own! The hotel has a restaurant and there are several others close by.
3:00 pm Hotel check-in begins
  Conference registration desk opens
  Raffle Ticket sales begin (to support the scholarship fund; items are donated by vendors and local artists)
  Bazaar opens (until 9 pm) - come shop our wonderful vendors
  Red Tent Room opens (until 10 pm)
4:00 - 5:30 pm Tour of the Capitol. Limited to first 24 people to sign up when registering. Meet in the hotel Lobby.
5:30 - 7:30 pm Welcome Happy Hour; wine, beer and soft drinks complimentary to Hotel guests
  Conference attendees not staying at the hotel may purchase drinks from the hotel bar.
7:00 - 8:15 pm Opening Ceremony - come Be the Spark!
After the Maidens "meet and greet"
ceremony... Gather with friends for dinner on your own in the hotel or at one of the area's many restaurants
  Shop at the Bazaar until 9 pm
  Gather in the Red Tent Room until 10 pm (a comfortable place to relax and connect with others)
8:30 - 10 pm Movie Night: "Defying the Nazis: The Sharps' War" directed by Ken Burns and narrated by Tom Hanks - Agave D  & E
   

SATURDAY
Feb. 24

 
7:30 - 10:30 am Breakfast Buffet included for Embassy Suites guests. Conference attendees not staying at the hotel may purchase breakfast at the restaurant.

9:15 - 10:15 am Keynote Address - “Bring your Own Chair: Making Room for Everyone at the Policy Table” – Rep. Donna Howard
10:30 - 11:50 am Morning Workshop Session - AM 1
12 - 1:15 pm Luncheon, SWUUW Annual Meeting (for all conference attendees), and Speaker, Rev. Lyssa Jenkens: “UUSC: Made for Times Like These”
1:30 - 3:00 pm Early Afternoon Workshop Session - PM 1
3:15 - 4:45 pm Mid Afternoon Workshop Session - PM 2
5:30 - 7:30 pm Reception/Happy Hour (free wine, beer and soft drinks for hotel guests 
  Conference attendees not staying at the hotel may purchase drinks from the hotel bar
  Last chance to buy Raffle Tickets
  Presenter Book and CD signings during Happy Hour (until 6:30)
6:45 pm Conference Banquet Dinner, and Raffle Drawings - Agave D & E
8:00 pm “Presenting Kiya Heartwood” live music and dancing
   

SUNDAY
Feb. 25

Check out time is noon so pack-up before you come down to say good bye. The hotel will hold your bags until you are ready to leave.

9:30 - 10:15 am Closing Ceremony – Agave D & E
10:45 am Worship at First Unitarian Universalist Church of Austin, 4700 Grover Ave., Austin, Texas, 78756
  Service starts at 10:45 am followed by coffee and conversation. The Hotel Shuttle will take you and bring you back or you can carpool over.
